How Should a Baskerville ULTRA Muzzle and a Martingale Collar Fit My Akita?

I bought a size 6 Baskerville ULTRA Muzzle for my Akita. I think it is kind of loose. I can fit 2 finger between his mouth and the base of the muzzle. Is that ok? Also I bought a martingale collar for my dog. Can I leave that collar on him all day to substitute the normal collar?

I’m not familiar with the muzzle so can’t answer that…as for the collar, NO. The martingale collar should not be left on the dog as an all-day collar (choking hazard)…

My dog has a martingale collar for walks, and various nylon collars for every day…however, since the collars were leaving a mark around her neck (messing up the hair) I quit leaving one on her at home (she’s chipped)…she wears a regular collar to the dog park, and the martingale when out walking or going to public places on a leash…
